Is it possible that a credit report will vary if taken out by a lender?

On what basis is the difference in score?

Is it possible that a credit report will vary if taken out by a lender?

Yes it will.

There are three credit reporting agencys and three types of credit reports that can be pulled. Every agency has there own way of calculating your score. I look at credit every day and see scores that are over 100-points apart.

1. Standard, this is the one you get on line.

2. Auto enhanced, this is the one that car dealers and lenders look at.

3. Factual, this is the one that mortgage companies look at.

So between three types and three agency%26#039;s each person can have nine scores.

Is it possible that a credit report will vary if taken out by a lender?

Well depends on where they got their report, not all companies send all the information to all three agencies, so say your mortgage was only sent to two, and then other one never recieved anything, well if the lender took out a credit report on the one that didn%26#039;t get the mortgage sent to them, then it would change your score.
