Depends on the job, if you are applying for a job that gives %26quot;company credit cards%26quot; to their employees for expenses. I promise you they will run it, and your hiring will be determined whethere you have good enough credit.

Most check it though to get a %26quot;better%26quot; look at who the applicant is as a person. We CC check people here, to see how responsible they are in their personal life. Its just another way someone can guage who/what you are all about. Lets face it, interviews all sound the same. People give the same %26quot;dont want to give a bad answer%26quot; response.

Your employer will have to get insurance indemnity to cover him against any theft or fraud you may commit during your time with the company. The insurance will take your credit report into consideration when calculating the premium. It may not be cost effective to employ you. It is also a good excuse if he does not like you or anything else about you.
