I have inquiries on my credit report, does anyone know how to get those removed?

There is no way to remove current inquires form your report, but they do drop off after 2 years. Lets say you were car shopping and have 10 inquires in a span of 4 days, then you could leave a personal statement on your credit report explaining that you were %26quot;car shopping%26quot; and wanted to see all your options. Or any other to that effect. For future reference, it you will be shopping around for rates, do it all at once so that they will take it into consideration!

The best answer may be the best but it is definitely wrong. Report It

Inquires can be removed, but only by the creditor. Report It

if this is USA... Than an inquiry cannot be removed, it just ages off. A credit report will generally show inquiries made within the last 90 days. It gives a lender an idea of what you%26#039;ve been up to. If your shopping for a car or a house than naturally you will have more than one inquiry, but it also tells a lender if you applying for more credit than you can afford.

You cant remove inquires. I think they stay on your credit report for 2 years.

Look for myfico.com. Inquiries, which you authorize, stay for 3 month only. Every inquiry counts for 5 points out of your score. If you shopping around for mortgage or car loan credit bureaus allow you to do that for 30 days and count it like one inquiry only. Unauthorized inquiries is not really hurting your score, but you can opt out yourself at https://www.optoutprescreen.

I did have experience when the score went up up 25 points in 2 weeks after the person opt out himself.

The only way I have been told to have inquiries removed, is if you can have the company that %26quot;pulled%26quot; your report request the inquiry be removed as it was %26quot;pulled%26quot; by mistake. Not many companies are willing to do this as they have no incentive to do so.

You may just have to wait for the two year SOL to expire.

Good Luck.

The real answer is you can dispute inquiries with Experian. You have to call them though and tell them you%26#039;ve been a victim of Identity Theft. They will investigate and hopefully they will be removed (I call experian all the time to remove inquiries). As far as transunion you have to call them and tell them the same thing, but the only thing with Transunion is they remove inquiries within the last 60 days. I%26#039;m working on Equifax now, so I%26#039;ll update you on that.

Secondly, if you get a police report and list your inquiries as unauthorized on your police report, send it to the credit bureaus and they will remove.
