Just wanted to know.
Does a secured credit card show up like a regular credit card on your credit report?
It sure does. And it does if you%26#039;re late or don%26#039;t pay at all. A Really, a secured credit card is no different from an unsecured card, the real difference being that you had to put up a deposit. But how you can work it to your advantage would be to increase the limit by adding to the deposit every once in a while. You not only boost your credit line which will look better on your report once it%26#039;s unsecured, but also it gives you a way of saving money too because if you keep the card in good standing, you%26#039;ll get your deposit back with a little interest anyway, so why not build credit and save a little money at the same time?

Secured credit cards can be reported as secured and as unsecured, depending on which card you have
Most report the status as secured and this does nothing to help your credit, because when the account is secured, they are not actually extending you credit.
The only one I know of that reports as unsecured is the Orchard Bank Secured credit card. More info here. http://www.creditcardindex.org/secured-c...
