Do items disappear on the credit report if you have pay off those items completely?

If so, how long usually? If not will they stay there forever?

It stays on for 7 years but it says when you paid it off

It should show you on the report when something is scheduled to drop off your report. Some items are on there for 7 years or so.

If you get a default notice eg by not paying this will stay with you even if you repay in full.

And bankruptcy was on for 10 yrs .

It will show paid but will remain there for 7 years after the last activity, unless you received in writing that they would be removed upon satisfaction of the debt. In other words if you paid one off in 7/07 will be there, showing as satisfied until 7/14

Nothing derogatory drops from your credit report until the 7-year limit runs out.



They will simply read as paid $0 balance.
