This is simply the name of the lender, and the account number allocated to the loan you took out. HSBC is a bank. The RS probably refers to one of their loans departments.

I have this on my report also...it is a revolving charge account ...mine is for a HPCharge card when I bought my computer. All you need to do is look at the balance to see if that matches one of your cards. If it shows a $o.oo balance then look through your cards to find the account #...sometimes it will just be part of the actual account #.

Here is their website, did you get a car loan or a credit card?
If you didn%26#039;t get any credit with them, or %26quot;co-signed%26quot; for anyone, then you can write to the credit reporting agencies and request for them to remove it as %26quot;not my account%26quot;.

Am pretty sure RS stand for Radio Shack.... the HSBC is the main credit processor/ Bank.
HSBC do many retailers , costco used to be one of them not sure if still is.
if is positive payments, just leave it alone. if is dragetory, check more into it, and if is wrong simply dispute !
