Visit AnnualCreditReport.com. ACR was set up by the big three credit reporting agencies in the United States, to furnish free annual credit reports, as required by federal law.

Dispute the negative items with the credit bureaus. There are many other ways to get items removed - learn credit repair. ;)

1. Its never totaly free unless you apply for something where they check your credit. Then legally they have to send you a report if you ask for one. Anytime you check it online there is always some catch.. like you have sign up for something to get your score.

2. As far as getting things off of it.. that cant be done without the help of time. Negative info falls off your report after 7 years.

Try freecreditreport.com. You are entitled to get one free report per year (without signing up for anything).

If you have negative things that you want to dispute, you will need to notify the credit agencies and send a letter to whoever listed the item. But if the negative items are correct, you%26#039;ll have to wait for them to fall off of your credit report.
