I have 6 negatives on my credit report...?

My friend told me to dispute them b/c most creditors won%26#039;t reply and they will come off???But they are legit so can I really dispute them???

Section 611 of the Fair Credit Reporting Act states that when a charge on an indivduals report is disputed, the credit reporting agency must verify the disputed charge within 30 days. It doesn%26#039;t matter if the negative item is valid or not, it has to be verified. If it cannot be verified, it must be deleted by law.

you can try but most of them are probably going to be found legit and stay on there....

but i only takes a minute to dispute so why not give it a try

you should try to dispute them. even if just one comes off, it is a help. even if one person doesn%26#039;t answer.

Just call the company and see what is going on. There should be a 1-800 number. That will probably be the only way that you can find out! Good luck to you

sure, just call the three bureaus and dispute them some will be deleted or other ones not. the ones that are not deleted (it takes 30 days to get the results) you can go to a credit repair company it really works,it worked for me, if anything write me kkieffer29@yahoo.com so i can recommend.

first you dispute them with the credit reporting agencies

then with the creditor and NEVER EVER EVER talk

to them on the phone !!!

You should try to dispute them, then if they are verified you should contact them all to inquire about the debt. If you feel you owe it you should pay the account %26amp; inquire if they remove it once it is paid. I assume that most will say it will stay as a paid collection, but some may remove it for you.
